    Analysis: The rookie second-round pick, who was placed on the list July 26, will now look to get back into the mix and carve out a role in a Los Angeles receiving corps that also includes Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, DeSean Jackson and Van Jefferson. Atwell's speed is undeniable, but at 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds, he's extremely slight for the receiver position and may struggle to make a splash as a rookie.

    The Rams placed Atwell (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.

    Analysis: Atwell's rookie training camp will get a late start because of the move, putting him behind the eight ball in terms of learning everything he needs prior to his debut season. He'll have to play catch-up with the other rookies and teammates once he's cleared from the list and also may have a tough time finding the field consistently as part of a deep wide receiver group that also includes Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, DeSean Jackson and Van Jefferson.
