Leads team in tackles in return
Hooker had 11 tackles (nine solo) in Sunday's 27-3 loss to the Browns.
Analysis: Hooker returned Sunday after missing Week 2 while in the league's concussion protocols. He led the team in tackles in large part due to the 81.8 percent completion rate by Deshaun Watson, which set up plenty of tackle opportunities in the secondary. Plagued by multiple injuries
Hooker recorded 46 tackles, three passes defended and one interception across nine games in 2022.
Analysis: Hooker was limited to only nine games due to both shoulder and knee injuries, which held down his overall numbers. However, he continued to have a significant role when healthy, and he now has at least three passes defended in each of his last three seasons. Officially inactive Week 16
Hooker (knee) will not play Saturday against Houston, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Analysis: Hooker will miss his second straight game due to a knee injury. Josh Kalu played 72 percent of Tennessee's defensive snaps against the Chargers last week and will presumably have an increased workload again Saturday. The Titans have a short turnaround before next week's Thursday contest versus Dallas, so it remains to be seen if Hooker will be able to participate in that game. The safety did manage a pair of limited practices this week before being ruled out.

Analysis: Hooker suffered the injury during Tennessee's Week 8 victory against Houston. However, his status on Monday's estimated injury report suggests the safety could return as soon as Thursday against Green Bay. Analysis: Hooker started the three games Vaccaro missed last season but otherwise served as the Titans' third safety. The 2019 fourth-round pick made the most of his limited opportunities in his second season, recording 51 tackles, eight pass defenses and four interceptions across only 468 defensive snaps. That production bodes well for Hooker's IDP value in 2021, though fellow Titans safety Kevin Byard (four straight seasons with 16 starts and 84 or more tackles) is a far more reliable choice.

Picks off four passes
Hooker recorded 51 tackles, one tackle for loss, eight passes defensed and four interceptions across 16 games in the 2020 regular season.
Analysis: Hooker was the Titans' third safety for much of the season, though he was pressed into a bigger role in the absence of Kenny Vaccaro. As a result, he saw an increased role in his second season in the NFL and took advantage by improving his statistics across the board. Vaccaro could be cut this offseason with just a $3 million dead cap hit, meaning Hooker could step into a full-time starting role in the 2021 campaign.

Records key interception
Hooker recorded six tackles, one interception and an additional defensed pass in Week 11 against the Ravens.
Analysis: Hooker picked off Lamar Jackson late in the third quarter, ending a 25-yard drive that was approaching midfield. It was his third interception of the season. Hooker has taken on a bigger role in the Titans' defense in his second season and has 30 total tackles as well as six passes defended across 10 contests.

Appears in 16 games as rookie
Hooker recorded 19 tackles and one tackle for loss across 16 games for the Titans in 2019.
Analysis: Hooker played consistently as the backup free safety throughout his rookie campaign, working behind Kevin Byard. With Byard under contract with the Titans through the 2024 season, it's unlikely that Hooker will be able to carve out a major role in the team's secondary in the immediate future.
