Catchless in Week 17
Batson did not command a target in Week 17 against the Texans. For the season, Batson recorded 12 receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis: Batson often filled the third receiver role for the Titans, particularly in the absence of Adam Humphries (concussion). That didn't translate to big statistical production, as A.J. Brown and Corey Davis commanded an overwhelming majority of the targets in the offense. However, Batson saw logged 283 offensive snaps -- over 100 more than his rookie season -- despite playing in only 12 games. He will remain under contract with the Titans in 2021, but he'll first look to make an impact in their…read more

Logs one reception in Week 16
Batson brought in his only target for 12 yards in Week 16 against the Packers.
Analysis: Batson played 25 offensive snaps as the Titans attempted to erase a big deficit. However, that didn't translate to much production, as he was targeted only once. For the season, Batson now has 12 receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Hauls in late touchdown
Batson recorded three receptions for 14 yards and a touchdown in Week 13 against the Browns.
Analysis: Batson mixed into the game sparingly through three quarters, logging two receptions and one rushing attempt. He saved his best effort for the Titans' final drive of the game, when he hauled in a toe-tapping contested touchdown from eight yards away. It was the first time Batson has found the end zone in 19 career games, and he remains buried on the Titans' depth chart.

Gets involved against Baltimore
Batson brought in both targets for 21 yards in Week 11 against Baltimore. He also had one rush attempt for four yards.
Analysis: Batson was only on the field for 18 offensive snaps but recorded multiple receptions for the second consecutive week. His longest gain went for 14 yards, which helped keep alive the Titans' first offensive possession that ended with a touchdown. Batson also took a direct snap from the five-yard line and was taken down just short of the goal line. If Adam Humphries (concussion) remains sidelined for a Week 12 matchup against the Colts, Batson should continue to see an increased role in the…read more

Logs two receptions
Batson recorded two receptions for eight yards in Week 10 against the Colts.
Analysis: Batson earned his most involvement in the offense since Week 2, benefitting from the absence of Adam Humphries (concussion). Though his statline was not impressive, Batson was targeted in the end zone and drew a pass interference call that set up a touchdown. Both Batson and Kalif Raymond figure to see increased chances so long as Humphries remains sidelined.

Receives promotion
The Titans signed Batson to the 53-man roster Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Batson has suited up in three games for the Titans this season, and he logged at least 27 percent of the offensive workload each time. That didn't translate to much production, as he caught just three passes for 39 yards in that stretch. He should handle a similar snap share Sunday against the Bears, as he'll be the No. 5 wide receiver following news that Adam Humphries (concussion) has been ruled out.

Back to practice squad
Batson reverted to the Titans' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Analysis: The 24-year-old was elevated from the practice squad as an extra player for Sunday's win over the Texans, but he returns to the practice squad after catching his lone target for 13 yards on 20 offensive snaps. Batson has three catches for 39 yards in three games this season and, even if he rejoins the active roster, he's unlikely to be a significant factor in the passing game.

Elevates to active roster
Batson elevated to the Titans' active roster Saturday, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone Nashville reports.
Analysis: Batson was activated from the practice squad COVID-19 list earlier this week, and he's expected to suit up Sunday versus the Texans. The Texas Tech product has played two games with the Titans this year, catching both targets for 26 yards and adding an 11-yard carry. He'll mainly operate as wideout depth Sunday.

Back with team
The Titans activated Batson from the practice squad COVID-19 list Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: The receiver was placed on the list for either testing positive for the virus or coming into close contact with a someone who had. Batson will resume practice squad duties now that he's been cleared to rejoin his teammates.

Sent back down to practice squad
Batson reverted back to Tennessee's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction report.
Analysis: Batson started and played 45 of 75 snaps on offense but failed to make an impact outside of getting called for holding. That underwhelming performance could dissuade the TItans from calling the 24-year-old Texas Tech product back up.

Brought up to active roster
Baston elevated to the Titans' active roster Saturday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Batson reverted to the practice squad after playing in Week 2's win over the Jaguars when he caught both targets for 26 yards and recorded an 11-yard carry. He'll play a similar role Sunday versus the Vikings, and he will likely be called up again in Week 4 if A.J. Brown (knee) misses more time as expected.

Back to practice squad
Batson reverted back to the Titans' practice squad Monday, according to the league's official transaction report.
Analysis: The Titans called on the second-year pro to bolster the receiving corps Sunday with A.J. Brown (knee) ruled out. Batson chipped in two receptions for 26 yards and one rush for 11 yards across 34 snaps. Should Brown continue to miss time, look for Batson to potentially get called up again.

Chips in two receptions
Batson recorded two receptions for 26 yards and one rush for 11 yards in the Titans' Week 2 win over Jacksonville.
Analysis: Batson saw an increase in playing time due to the absence of A.J. Brown (knee). His biggest play of the contest came midway through the fourth quarter when he worked deep over the middle for an 18-yard reception. Batson was signed to the Titans' practice squad after being waived on Sept. 7. However, he took advantage of his chance to dress on gameday, finishing fifth on the team in receptions and yards in Week 2.

Waived by Titans
The Titans waived Batson on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Batson initially made the 53-man roster but was cut two days later. The 24-year-old receiver spent the entire 2019 season on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, but he's healthy now and could be a practice-squad candidate.

Inks one-year extension
Batson (undisclosed) signed a one-year contract extension with the Titans on Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Batson spent the entire 2019 campaign on injured reserve due to an undisclosed issue he suffered last July, but the team's decision to re-sign him implies that he's now back to full health. He'll look to secure a depth role at wideout during the upcoming season after he hauled in eight passes for 82 yards across 11 games with Tennessee as a rookie in 2018.
