Plays full season
Cooper finished the 2020 season with five catches on eight targets for 73 yards in 16 games played.
Analysis: Cooper also served as a returner for the Panthers, taking back 20 punts for 117 yards and 18 kickoffs for 430 more. That special-teams work was where most of Cooper's value was derived, as he featured on less than 15 percent of the offensive snaps. A pending unrestricted free agent, Cooper will hope to sign with a team looking for help in the return game and at receiver.

No receptions in Week 16
Cooper didn't catch his lone target in Sunday's 20-13 win over Washington.
Analysis: Cooper played just 10 snaps on offense. While he started the year as Carolina's primary kick returner, running back Trenton Cannon has seemingly taken over that job of late. Cooper is still the team's main punt returner.

Best outing yet
Cooper caught all three of his targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 32-27 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: The 25-year-old entered Sunday with just one reception on the season, but in playing nearly 60 percent of the offensive snaps, he was able to put together easily his best performance yet while taking advantage of the absence of DJ Moore (COVID-19/ankle). Cooper's outing was highlighted by a 32-yard catch in the fourth quarter, marking Carolina's longest play of the day. As the Panthers' No. 3 receiver until Moore is able to return, Cooper will hope to keep his production up Saturday against the…read more

Gets first catch
Cooper caught his only target for 12 yards in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Falcons.
Analysis: Cooper hadn't been targeted in Carolina's first four games, mainly sticking to return duties, but in playing just under a quarter of the offensive snaps Sunday, he was able to get off the mark with a reception. Such limited involvement severely caps Cooper's fantasy value, but he at least made the stat sheet in Week 5.

Headed to Carolina
Cooper is signing a one-year contract with the Panthers, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Primarily known as a return specialist, Cooper actually got a good bit of run on offense with the Cardinals last season, catching 25 of 33 targets for 243 yards and a touchdown in 12 games. He'll probably be the fourth or fifth wide receiver in Carolina, but it isn't out of the question that he could challenge fellow new addition Seth Roberts for the No. 3 job.

Has minimal offensive role in 2019
Cooper accrued 25 catches (on 33 targets) for 243 yards and one touchdown in 12 contests during the 2019 season.
Analysis: Cooper wasn't afforded much opportunity on offense behind starting inside receivers Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk but still made his presence felt at times. In particular, Cooper fared well on special teams, churning out 22.4 yards on 25 kickoff returns and 7.6 yards on 17 punt returns. Both of those averages ranked in the top 12 for qualified returners, but it remains to be seen if the Cardinals will retain the unrestricted free agent in the offseason.

Notches pair of receptions Sunday
Cooper tallied two catches (on two targets) for 14 yards, five punt returns for 40 yards and four kick returns for 90 yards during Sunday's 27-13 win in Seattle.
Analysis: It more or less was a pedestrian day for Cooper, but the fourth-year pro did manage season highs in yardage in both return realms. Otherwise, he failed to reach 20 receiving yards for the sixth time in 11 games in a Cardinals uniform this season. Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald continue to monopolize the reps at inside receiver, leaving scraps behind for Cooper.

Posts another catch
Cooper compiled 17 yards on one catch, minus-2 yards on one punt return and 57 yards on three kick returns during Sunday's 38-24 win against the Browns.
Analysis: Aside from a 36-yard dash on the opening kickoff, Cooper didn't contribute much in this contest. Having said that, he continues to operate as the Cardinals' third inside receiver behind Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald, seeing 12 of 61 offensive snaps Sunday. Cooper will maintain such a role as the team wraps up the campaign with visits to the division-rival Seahawks and Rams the next two weekends.

Posts 102 all-purpose yards Sunday
Cooper caught his only target for five yards while returning one punt for 29 yards and three kickoffs for 68 yards during Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: Cooper ranks 13th in total kickoff return yardage (346) and 23rd in punt return yardage (91), fueling the push for his most all-purpose yards in a given season in his career. At the moment, he has 627 such yards in 13 games, which is a far cry from his 1,421 in 16 contests with the Rams back in 2017. Still, Cooper has had very little impact as a receiver this season, topping out at 35 yards in a Week 11 loss at San Francisco.

Hauls in four passes
Cooper caught four of six passes for 26 yards, returned one punt for five yards and had a special-teams tackle during Sunday's 34-7 defeat to the Rams.
Analysis: Since Week 5, Cooper has regularly worked as the Cardinals' third inside receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk, and the trend continued following the team's Week 12 bye. Cooper has yet to record more than four catches or surpass 40 yards in a given game this season, and his biggest contribution to the team (his return prowess) has little fantasy relevance. In the end, he's a tertiary option, at best, in Arizona's passing attack.

Scores first career receiving TD
Cooper caught three of four targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-26 loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: His five-yard TD grab midway through the second quarter gave the Cards a 16-0 lead that the team would eventually squander. It was the first offensive touchdown of Cooper's career -- he did score on a kickoff return for the Rams in 2017 -- and his role in the Arizona offense continues to grow, although he remains a tertiary target for Kyler Murray behind Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald.

Getting snaps beyond special teams
Cooper amassed two receptions (on five targets) for 29 yards, one punt return for two yards and two kickoff returns for 43 yards during Sunday's 30-27 loss at Tampa Bay.
Analysis: In addition to his return duties, Cooper continues to get reps as an inside receiver, ranking a distant third in offensive snap share (29 percent) to Christian Kirk (96 percent) and Larry Fitzgerald (79 percent). The usage isn't enough to make Cooper a worthwhile option, as his season high in receiving yards is 33, and he's yet to score a touchdown in any capacity. Still, the Cardinals seem to be committed to keeping him involved, so he has a chance to flash at some point over the final six…read more
