Clears COVID-19 protocols
Casey (biceps) has cleared the league's COVID-19 protocols but remains on injured reserve, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Analysis: Casey was already on season-ending IR when he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He can now return to team activities while he rehabs for the 2021 season.

Moves to COVID list
Casey (biceps) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Analysis: The 29-year-old was already ruled out for the season and on injured reserve, but he apparently either tested positive for COVID-19 or is a close contact of an infected individual. Regardless, Casey should return to injured reserve once he clears the COVID-19 protocols.

Shifts to injured reserve
Casey (biceps) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Analysis: Casey suffered a torn biceps during Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, so it's no surprise to see him headed to the injured list. The 30-year-old is expected to miss the rest of the season after totaling 14 tackles across the first three games.

Tears bicep Sunday
Basey suffered a torn bicep in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Casey is expected to miss the rest of the 2020 season as the injuries pile up for the Broncos on both sides of the ball. For the time being, DeShawn Williams will likely bump into a starting role opposite Shelby Harris on the defensive line, but DeMarcus Walker (calf) will likely push Williams for the starting gig once he returns from IR. Expect Casey to be placed on IR soon.

Bats down two passes
Casey recorded six tackles (three solo) and two pass breakups in Monday's 16-13 loss to the Titans.
Analysis: Casey logged 70 percent of the defensive snaps against his former team, and although he didn't take down Ryan Tannehill, he did record a QB hit. The pass breakups were a nice touch, too, as he posted just one over the previous three seasons. He'll now direct his attention to Pittsburgh for Week 2.

Headed to Denver
The Broncos acquired Casey from the Titans on Wednesday in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
Analysis: The five-time Pro Bowler is coming off a 2019 campaign in which he notched 44 tackles and five sacks in 14 games. The 30-year-old defensive end is signed through 2022, and his addition will provide Denver's defensive line with an immediate boost.

Another strong season
Casey recorded 44 tackles, five sacks and seven tackles for a loss across 14 games for the Titans in 2019.
Analysis: Casey spent plenty of time in opposing team's backfields in 2019, finishing second on the team in sacks and third in tackles for loss. The nine-year veteran now has at least five sacks in each of his last seven seasons, maintaining his status as a mainstay along the Titans' defensive line. Casey is set to return to the Titans in 2020, as he has three seasons remaining on his current contract.

Two sacks in divisional-round win
Casey notched four solo tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble during Saturday's playoff win over the Ravens.
Analysis: Casey didn't have a single multisack game during the regular performance, but he managed to bring down Lamar Jackson twice during Saturday's upset win. The veteran defensive end will look to keep up his momentum during next Sunday's AFC Championship Game against either the Chiefs or the Texans.

Strong pass-rushing effort
Casey recorded four tackles -- one for a loss -- a sack and three quarterback hits in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Colts.
Analysis: While Casey only has three sacks through 10 games, his ability to get to Jacoby Brissett in this contest was superb. The veteran defensive end will look to add to his totals in Week 14 against the Raiders.

Practices in full
Casey (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Casey missed Tennessee's last two contests, but he now appears back to full health coming off the team's bye. Barring any setbacks, expect the veteran defensive end to draw his usual start against the Jaguars on Sunday.

Won't play Sunday
Casey (shoulder) is ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Panthers, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Casey wasn't able to practice in any capacity this week, so it's not much of a surprise that he'll sit out Sunday's contest versus Carolina. Jeffery Simmons and Austin Johnson are candidates to see increased defensive snaps with Casey sidelined.
