Britt impressed his quarterback on the first day of the Titans' voluntary workouts Monday, the Tennessean reports. "He came back and looked great during workouts," noted Jake Locker on Monday. "It sounds like he really got on his rehab and got his knee feeling a lot better and I'm really excited about how he came back."
Analysis: Britt managed a modest total of 45 catches for 589 yards with four TDs in 14 games last season, but that was on the heels of an offseason filled with knee issues. Now even further removed from the torn ACL and MLC that he suffered in September of 2011, Britt carries upside in 2013, provided he remains setback-free with his knee and avoids any further off-field issues, as well.

Britt has been asked by New Jersey police to come in to provide additional information pertaining to the stabbing of one of his close friends on Jan. 13th, the Tennesean reports.
Analysis: A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the stabbing, but apparently Britt's needed for more questioning. He already spoke to police about the stabbing, and about a gunshot that was fired at an apartment a few hours after the stabbing. Britt reportedly dropped his friend with the stab wound off at the hospital, and was initially uncooperative with officers, but his attorney, Robert Lane, said there's "zero chance" Britt is arrested for anything connected to the case.

Britt met with New Jersey police Tuesday afternoon to answer questions about two incidents that occurred this past weekend, the Tennessean reports. "He came in, and that's all I can tell you," Jersey City Police Captain Edgar Martinez said. "The investigation is still going on."
Analysis: The incidents in question are one, in which a friend of Britt's was stabbed, and the second involving a gunshot that was later fired at an apartment building. At this point, there's no time frame for the case to be resolved, but either way, this is no doubt not the way the Titans were hoping Britt's offseason would go.

An NFL spokesman said Monday that the league plans to look into the latest off-field incident involving Britt, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: Police in New Jersey reportedly want to talk to Britt about two incidents one that resulted in one of the wideout's friends being stabbed early Sunday morning and another in which a gunshot was later fired. In any case, it's uncertain if this latest incident will result in any disciplinary action, but there's no doubt that this is the sort of publicity the Titans hoped Britt would avoid this offseason.

Police want to talk to Britt about an incident early Sunday morning that resulted in a close friend being treated for a non-life-threatening stab wound to the left side of his back, the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: The report notes that Britt dropped off a man at Jersey City Medical Center, then was allegedly uncooperative with officers when asked about the incident. Earlier reports suggested that the man who was stabbed was Britt's brother, but that has been corrected, though there is still some confusion regarding how cooperative Britt was with the police, with one of his spokesman stating, "Kenny has made himself available to cooperate with the authorities' investigation of this matter."

Police in New Jersey reportedly wish to speak with Britt about an incident Saturday night that resulted in his brother being stabbed, the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: The report notes that Britt's brother was treated for a non-life threatening stab wound to the left side of his back. Police believe that Britt -- who allegedly was non-cooperative with officers when questioned after he dropped his brother off at the hospital -- was at the scene of an altercation, which led up to the stabbing. In any case, Britt continues to have off-field issues, though it's uncertain this latest incident it will result in any disciplinary action.

Britt, who had two catches for 21 yards Sunday against the Jaguars, finished the season with 45 catches for 589 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games.
Analysis: Britt came off an 2011 ACL tear this season and though he only missed two games due to injuries, he was a mainstay on the injury report nearly every week. Britt has said he will revisit doctors to get a better diagnosis of his troublesome knees, but if his health checks out, the talented but unpredictable receiver will surely be a high-risk, high-reward pick in 2013 fantasy drafts.

Britt totaled two catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort versus the Packers on Sunday. WATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Analysis: Britt was held to a goose egg, until catching a 39-yard pass and subsequent two-yard touchdown a play later with under two minutes left in the game. Britt has been largely dependent on touchdowns in garbage time this season as he has just one game over 100 yards, but he is worth a shot in Week 17 against the reeling Jaguars, who gave up a touchdown to Britt in their last meeting.

Analysis: Britt's maddening season continues as Antonio Cromartie shut down the Titans top receiver, with Jake Locker only even looking Britt's way three times on the night. Analysis: Coming off his most productive outing yard-wise in some time, Britt will face off against a Jets pass defense that has held opposing wide receivers to just 19 catches for 208 yards over the past two games. However, this follows a stretch from Week 10-12 in which the Jets gave up seven touchdowns to wideouts, certainly brightening his prospects somewhat in Week 15.

Analysis: Britt's knee, though perhaps still a bit less than 100 percent healthy, is no concern as far as his Monday availability goes. He's not a good on-paper option against the Jets' tough pass defense, though, as they're allowing just 6.3 yards per pass.

Kenny Britt: "Not Totally 100%"
Despite posting season highs in receptions (8) and yards (143) last week, Britt (knee) says he's "not totally 100%" but is making progress, the Tennessean's John Glennon reports.
Analysis: "I've been feeling better, feeling more confidence in going out there and running routes," Britt said Thursday. "The last two weeks have been my best two-week period in practice and in games." Though Britt is certainly not physically at the peak he was early in 2011, he's clearly made some progress as the season has progressed and has over 100 yards or a touchdown in each of his last three games. And even though he has a tougher matchup against the Jets on Monday night, he should receive a few deep shots down the field and is the only Titan receiver to score since Week 10.

Kenny Britt: First 100-Yard Effort This Season
Britt (knee) caught eight passes on nine targets for 143 yards Sunday against the Colts, his first 100-yard receiving effort since Week 2 of 2011.
Analysis: Britt wasn't able to make it three straight with a touchdown, but instead eclipsed 100 yards for the first time since the beginning of last season. Britt has 17 targets the last two weeks under new offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains and it appears he is finally getting the looks necessary to become a solid receiving option.

Analysis: Though Britt saw more snaps than any other game this season Sunday, his two-catch, 40-yard performance was otherwise unimpressive if not for the touchdown grab when the Titans were down by 21 points. Offensive Coordinator Chris Palmer said he's hoping for more production out of Britt (knee) but doesn't expect him to be at 100% until next season, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports. "The Kenny Britt I saw last year, he's not back yet," Chris Palmer said. "He's playing well and he's doing what he can do under the circumstances. I don't know if it is more frustrating to him, or more frustrating to the coaches, because you have the talent and you are counting on this guy, and now you just have to live through that period of time before he is fully recovered."
Analysis: Britt has largely been a disappointment in recovering from an ACL tear that ended his season early in 2011, and although he's not quite back to that same level, he did manage to run up five catches for 136 yards with two touchdowns against these same Jaguars last season, so there are some positives here.

The Titans plan to evaluate Britt's role in the offense going forward during the team's current bye week, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports. "I think that's something we'll get a chance to look more at this week as coaches, to kind of see if we're using (Britt) the right way," coach Mike Munchak said Monday. "We're already watching his reps as far as in the games so we're not overworking him. Because he has different soreness every week that he's been playing through and practicing through."
Analysis: Ankle and knee woes have slowed Britt at times this season, so his body will no doubt benefit from the break afforded by the Titans' bye week. "He hasn't missed any practices, and he takes every rep we give him," Munchak added. "We kind of have to push him off the field. He wants to do more and more and more. Analysis: Don't expect stellar performances from Hasselbeck or wideouts Kendall Wright, Kenny Britt and Nate Washington. Despite being his fourth year in the NFL, Britt (ankle) is still like a rookie in the Titans offense, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports. "Kenny hasn't played in a year," Coach Mike Munchak said. "He's still learning this offense also for the most part at times we look like we're a little off, dropping some balls or maybe not on the same page. But those are some of the growing pains we've been going through the last few weeks."
Analysis: The fact that Britt's four starts in the Mike Munchak era are less than rookie Kendall Wright's five brings color to just how little experience Britt has in the Titans' offense. He made some big plays in Week 6, including a 37-yard grab and a game-tying touchdown catch, but he also dropped a couple passes and at times appeared out of sync with Matt Hasselbeck. Regardless, Britt is showing strides and the Titans have confidence in him as a go-to guy, so expect him to clean up his mistakes and put up numbers as long as he remains healthy.

Britt caught four passes for 62 yards and one touchdown in the Titans' win Thursday.
Analysis: Britt, who was targeted 11 times Thursday, played the whole game and caught a touchdown late in the fourth quarter that he bobbled but eventually brought in. Other than a few drops he looked much like the stud receiver he was prior to getting injured in 2011 and it appears he had no setbacks with his ankle so hopefully he's on your roster going forward.

Britt (ankle) did not practice Monday, but coach Mike Munchak is optimistic he'll be ready Thursday, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: "Even with the score the way it was at the end, he was still out there," Munchak said of Britt. "He didn't want to come off the field. He wanted to try to help. It wasn't like, `Oh, it's over, I may as well try to save myself.' The guy wanted to play and make a difference. He caught the last ball of the game. Those are the positives that you want to see from these guys." Britt played just 28 snaps in the Titans' Week 5 contest but the fact that he played and caught a couple balls was a good sign. With a tilt against the Steelers on Thursday, Britt will need as much rest as possible but expect him to be suited up come game time.

Analysis: Britt played primarily in the slot last week, and while he should see an expanded role in where he lines up in Week 3, the Titans will make sure he's running routes that won't put too much stress on his surgically-repaired knee. Titans wideout Kenny Britt only received a one game suspension from the league.
Analysis: The news actually helps Britt's value since his current ADP has him going in the 11th round of most fantasy drafts. Kenny Britt: Draws One-Game Suspension
Britt (knees) will be suspended for one game by the NFL, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: While being suspended is obviously not optimal, it will, in Britt's case, give the wideout additional time to strengthen his balky knees in anticipation of the Titans' Week 2 contest against the Chargers. If he had suited up in Week 1, the expectation was that Britt would be on a snap count, anyway. Britt has the talent to produce strong numbers when he is on the field, but drafting him must come with the caveat that he has some health concerns and that he is also presumably but one misstep away from a more impactful suspension.

If Britt (knees) is eligible to play in Week 1 against the Patriots, he would likely be somewhat limited, the Tennessean reports. "We have to be careful," offensive coordinator Palmer said. So I think he'll be on a pitch count on how many plays he can play until we feel comfortable he's ready for a full game."
Analysis: Coach Mike Munchak noted earlier in training camp that Britt might see about 12-15 snaps if he's out there in Week 1. Whether he is or not now hinges on a) Britt avoiding any setbacks with his knees and b) the wideout not being suspended by the NFL.

"There are no specific timelines for these cases," according to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello. "Each one is unique. When it's done, it's done and we announce something (or not)."
Analysis: There's plenty of speculation that Britt is in line for a short suspension, with the possible silver lining if that happens being that the wideout would have extra time to recuperate from his ongoing knee woes. But we are happy with where he's at."
Analysis: Munchak added that the plan is to increase the intensity of Britt's workouts this coming week. "He is progressing as well or better than we hoped," Munchak said of the wideout, who continues to bounce back from surgeries on both knees. "Now it is just a matter of how quickly over the next two weeks when he starts doing more cutting and changing of direction, how he'll respond to that." That all sounds good, but Britt still has a possible suspension hanging over his head in the wake of his off-field issues.

Though it hasn't been set up yet, Britt (knee) will eventually have to head to New York for a disciplinary hearing with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Not only does Britt have a possible suspension hanging over his head for some of his off-field issues, but he's still on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list thanks to his lingering knee woes. When he's on the field, the talent is there, but until his status becomes clearer, he's a risky pick, with Kendall Wright's fantasy prospects on the upswing now that he's been signed by the Titans.

Britt (knee) did some running and pushing of a blocking sled after Tuesday's practice, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
Analysis: Britt's on the PUP list, but he's reportedly been running on the treadmill and in the team's practice bubble. Tuesday marked the first time since training camp opened that Britt has worked on the field in front of media, which is a step in the right direction.

Titans coach Mike Munchak said Friday that Britt (knee) should be running and cutting by next week, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: Britt has had two knee scopes and one DUI arrest this offseason, but it looks like he's getting closer to being ready for the practice field. The 23-year-old is currently on the PUP list, but he can be lifted from it at any point before the season. Britt played in just three games last season, and will be a high risk, high reward option heading into the 2012 season.

Kenny Britt: Placed on PUP List
Britt (knee) has been placed on the Titans' preseason PUP list, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Of course, Britt will be eligible to return to practice as at any time during training camp, but questions and red flags abound here, given his recent DUI arrest, on top of a disconcerting offseason with regards to soundness of his knees.

Kenny Britt: (Knee) DUI Arrest
Britt (knee) was arrested for a DUI on Friday, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.
Analysis: This arrest comes days after Britt had arthroscopic surgery on his knee. Britt had multiple run-ins with the law last year before a torn ACL took him out for the season. This is not a good sign for the talented, but troubled wide receiver that could lead to suspensions once he is healthy.

Kenny Britt has surgery on left knee
According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennesseean, Titans receiver Kenny Britt "recently underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee." This is now the second surgery in three months for the wideout.
Analysis: Britt should now be considered no more than a No. 3 WR in fantasy drafts. The team did select Kendall Wright in the NFL draft, but Nate Washington stands to gain the most should Britt's health issues continue.

Kenny Britt: Gets Another Knee Scoped
Britt underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee following the Titans' minicamp at the end of June, the Tennesean's Jim Wyatt reports.
Analysis: Britt, who tore his right ACL/MCL last September, had a scope on that knee in May. The latest procedure, reported Tuesday, was done to clean out his other knee and was presumably a minor one. In any event, given Britt's past knee woes, his injury status and history must be taken into consideration when drafting him. How much he is able to do in training camp -- and how he looks when he is on the field -- will be a situation to track closely in the coming weeks. The report notes that Britt, who has been working with team trainers of late, may end up beginning camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, but adds that the Titans still hope that he will be available for their regular season opener.

Britt (knee) is remaining in Nashville to rehab with team doctors this summer, but is confident he will be ready for the season's start, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.
Analysis: Britt is coming off a torn ACL and MCL suffered in Week 3 last season. At the time, Britt already had 17 catches for 289 yards and three touchdowns on the season and was looking to be one of the league's elite deep threats. Titans head coach Mike Munchak hopes Britt will be able to participate in drills when the team opens training camp at the end of July, but does not expect his wideout to practice fully until late in camp. Britt's injury history is already piling up, so take caution with drafting him, but also do not forget the big-time capability he possess when healthy.

Britt (torn ACL) performed five 100-yard sprints after organized team activities thursday and felt fine in following days, the Tennessean's Jim Wyatt reports.
Analysis: Thursday was the first time Britt (torn ACL) had attempted sprints after arthroscopic surgery a few weeks back. He was sprinting and cutting before, but that led to swelling and then the arthroscopic surgery. Britt hopes to be ready for training camp so he can work with the quarterbacks before the season starts.

Britt "praying" for Week 1 return
Tennessee Tiatns wide receiver Kenny Britt is "hoping and praying" he will be ready for week one of the 2012 NFL season. Britt was tested his surgically repaired ACL and MCL on the field during Thursday's OTA workout and reportedly "looked good." Britt admitted he had lost a bit of strength in the leg but was still about a week ahead of schedule.
Analysis: Due to the injury, Britt is safest drafted as a No. 2 WR on your fantasy team. He was among the most explosive receivers before the injury last season, so the potential to play well beyond his draft status is there.

Britt (torn ACL) will begin running and cutting again on Thursday for the first time since he underwent arthroscopic surgery three weeks ago, the Tennessean's Jim Wyatt reports.
Analysis: This is obviously good news, but it is still pretty unclear whether Britt will be ready for Week 1. His possible range of production this year is huge, so hopefully we will know more once training camp starts.

Britt (torn ACL) had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Wednesday, the Tennesean's Jim Wyatt reports.
Analysis: Early reports had Britt ahead of schedule in his recovery, but his status for Week 1 is very much up in the air. Although the procedure he underwent on Wednesday was a minor one, it is still not a good sign that he needed a follow-up surgery. We are still at least three months away from most fantasy drafts, but those of you who draft early will want to proceed with caution when it comes to Britt.

Kenny Britt: More Surgery On Tap?
Coach Mike Munchak acknowledged Sunday that Britt -- who is bouncing back from both a torn AC and MCL - might require a second procedure on his knee at some point, NFL.com reports.
Analysis: While it's no lock that will be the case, even hinting at such a possibility suggests the wideout's knee remains a concern. "I think it always is (possible)," Munchak said of the possibility of another knee procedure for Britt. "I don't know if he will at some point, but I think that's something that's common with that injury." In any case, given Britt's status, it's completely justifiable that the Titans took fellow wideout Kendall Wright in April's draft.

Britt said that though his knee is still swollen, he has been able to run mostly at full speed and cut on it, ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Britt underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL in October. Although his status for the start of the 2012 campaign remains uncertain, his rehab seems to be going well and Britt remains optimistic that he'll be ready to go out of the gate.

Coach Mike Munchak said that Britt (knee) has been rehabbing and is ahead of schedule, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.
Analysis: Britt had surgery to repair his torn ACL back in October, so given the good progress he is making, his chances of starting the 2012 season healthy enough to play look promising. As is the case with any skill player coming back from a serious knee injury though, how much much, if at all, his explosiveness and cutting ability will be impacted, at least initially, remains to be seen.
