The Eagles plan to give both LeSean McCoy and Brown a "generous number of carries" in 2013, CSN Philly reports.
Analysis: This is reassuring news for Brown, but it's not exactly a game-changer for his fantasy value. The definition of "generous" in this case is all kinds of vague, and while coach Chip Kelly often had two productive running backs at once in his offenses at Oregon, that was typically due to the team's large play count rather than an even split of the workload. In other words, unless the Eagles are playing 80 snaps per game on offense -- an ambitious goal, to say the least -- McCoy and Brown won't combine for the carry counts that the Oregon runners did. McCoy is definitely the better player between the two, so as long as he's healthy, he should still earn at least twice as many carries as Brown.

Brown had four carries for 18 yards Sunday against the Redskins.
Analysis: LeSean McCoy returned to the starting lineup, which sent Brown back to the bench. While there was speculation that Brown would get a number of touches himself while McCoy took frequent breaks, it just didn't happen Sunday against a very good Redskins' defense. McCoy finished with 13 carries for 45 yards plus another 77 receiving yards, which left Brown only his four carries. To make matters worse, third-stringer Dion Lewis scampered for a 17-yard touchdown, the only Eagles' running back to score Sunday.

Brown will be the Eagles' backup running back Sunday with LeSean McCoy returning from a concussion.
Analysis: Brown is still expected to get a few touches, as the Eagles could ease McCoy back in, after missing the last four games. However, the limited touches for Brown greatly reduce his fantasy upside.

McCoy returns
Eagles stars LeSean McCoy and Michael Vick are probable as they return from concussions. McCoy will start at running back, but his snaps will be split with Bryce Brown. FULL INJURY ROUNDUP
Analysis: With both backs splitting carries, there might be little upside for fantasy owners considering starting either player this week. The Redskins are ranked 6th versus the run, allowing an average of 95 yards per game and 10 scores this season.

McCoy, Brown to split carries
McCoy will start and split carries with Bryce Brown in a backfield that ranks 12th in the league in rushing. Brown has been a mixed big, intertwining electrifying runs with drive-killing fumbles. Coach Andy Reid told reporters he decided to start McCoy after the veteran asked for another chance to play before the season winds down. FULL REPORT
Analysis: Both backs will be risky plays for fantasy owners this week. They will be splitting carries against a Redskins defense allowing an average of 95 yards rushing per game and 10 touchdowns this season.

Brown will rotate in at running back with LeSean McCoy on Sunday against the Redskins, the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reports.
Analysis: McCoy has already been named the Eagles' Week 16 starter at running back and while we suspect that the team will manage McCoy's carries in his return to action, it's pretty clear that Brown's fantasy upside takes a major hit with this news. He's only an option in the deepest of formats, given his likely sharp reduction in snaps this weekend.

Brown carried 16 times for 34 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards in Thursday's loss to the Bengals.
Analysis: That's two straight duds for Brown, who burst out of the gate in his first two starting opportunities (in Weeks 12 and 13). It's pretty clear at this point that Brown is a work in progress and his fantasy utility in Week 16 (when the Eagles play the Redskins on December 23) is largely dependent on the status of LeSean McCoy, who is inching toward a return to action.

Eagles without three players on TNF
Quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy have been ruled out with the concussion symptoms that have kept them off the grid for weeks, the team announced Wednesday. The team will also go without tight end Brent Celek because of the concussion he suffered in Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. FULL REPORT
Analysis: Nick Foles and Bryce Brown will continue their lead roles against the Bengals on Thursday Night Football. Though the Bengals allow plenty of yardage through the air, they are tied for the third-fewest (14) passing scores allowed. Against the run, however, the unit is tied with the seventh-most (11) touchdowns allowed.

Bryce Brown: Starting Thursday
Brown will be Philadelphia's starting running back Thursday against Cincinnati.
Analysis: With LeSean McCoy (concussion) ruled out for Week 15, Brown will again receive the majority of the workload out of the Eagles' backfield. Following two explosive outings -- a combined 347 yards rushing and four touchdowns -- Brown carried the rock 12 times for just six yards this past Sunday, so it's difficult to get a read on his potential output Thursday against a Bengals run defense that has allowed just 76.8 yards per game and one rushing touchdown to opposing running backs the past four contests.

Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy return to Eagles practice
Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy were back at practice Tuesday after passing their concussion tests the previous day, but their availability for Thursday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals remains uncertain.
Analysis: Nick Foles has been named the starter for the remainder of the season, which pretty much rules out Vick. It also seems unlikely that McCoy will see any action during a short week, so you can start Bryce Brown with a high degree of certainty.

Brown had 12 carries for six rushing yards and two catches on four targets for six receiving yards Sunday against the Buccaneers.
Analysis: An absolutely dreadful performance from Brown against the league's No. 1 defense against the run. For fantasy owners who jumped on Brown after LeSean McCoy suffered a concussion, Sunday's output must have been particularly jarring, after Brown rumbled for 347 yards and four touchdowns in the preceding two games. Up next is a Bengals' defense that held DeMarco Murray to only 53 yards on the ground Sunday. In addition, McCoy could return, which would further limit Brown's fantasy upside.

McCoy ruled out
Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy continues to battle symptoms from the concussion he suffered in Week 11 and will not suit up Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The same goes for concussed quarterback Michael Vick. FULL INJURY ROUNDUP
Analysis: With LeSean McCoy ruled out, Brown's involvement in the passing game and the fact he is the only viable weapon on this offense should still reap positive results for owners against the Bucs top ranked rush defense. Just don’t expect another 20 -plus point day from him.

Brown will start against Tampa Bay on Sunday with LeSean McCoy (concussion) out.

Brown will likely play a role in the offense even if LeSean McCoy returns from his concussion, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Analysis: Brown has been a beast in McCoy's absence, rushing for 347 yards and four touchdowns in two games. He has had trouble with fumbles, but he has been a bright spot during a bad Eagles season. McCoy is in the third stage of the five-stage concussion protocol, so his status for Sunday's game is still up in the air.

Eagles running back LeSean McCoy and quarterback Michael Vick remain out with their concussions. FULL INJURY ROUNDUP

Brown is in line to start against Dallas on Sunday with LeSean McCoy (concussion) out.
Analysis: His two fumbles against Carolina hurt the Eagles, but they're a team with nothing to play for other than personnel evaluation, and they already know that Dion Lewis is a career backup at most. Brown, on the other hand, is a former five-star recruit who showed a great deal of upside as he burned the Panthers for 178 yards and two touchdowns Monday. It's difficult to see Brown being any worse than a flex play in most formats this week, and he's probably a justifiable RB2.

Brown is in line for another start as LeSean McCoy (concussion) is unlikely to play Sunday against the Cowboys, the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reports.
Analysis: Brown shredded the Panthers defense on Monday, running for 178 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 carries. He'll likely work on ball security in practice this week, as he lost two costly fumbles in his first career start. He has a great matchup against the Cowboys, and needs to be rostered if he's still in the waiver pool.

Brown had 19 rushes for 178 yards with two touchdowns and caught four passes for 11 yards Monday against the Panthers.
Analysis: Showing why he was so highly touted coming into college, Brown light the Panthers up highlighted by a 65-yard touchdown run down the sideline in the second quarter. Owners smart enough to handcuff LeSean McCoy (concussion) or scoop Brown off the wire were handsomely rewarded and then some as the rookie was the lone bright spot for the Eagles on Monday. Though his role will obviously hinge on the health of McCoy, the Eagles would be hard pressed not to expand his touches off the breakout performance.
