Graham made all four of his field-goal attempts Saturday in Houston's 19-13 win over Cincinnati in the first round of the playoffs. He added an extra point to make it a 13-point game for the kicker.
Analysis: The Texans' offense had to settle for field goals in three of four drives into the red zone, a trend that started back in Week 15. Graham has made 14-of-16 attempts in the past four weeks. Kicking field goals will not get it done against New England next week, but should help his fantasy owners.

Graham made both of his field goal attempts, including a 51-yarder, in Sunday's loss to Minnesota.
Analysis: The Houston offense has produced just one touchdown in its last seven trips to the red zone, giving Graham some opportunities to contribute. He's booted seven field goals in the previous two games.

Graham made five of his six field-goal attempts and booted two extra points for a 17-point day in Houston's win over Indianapolis on Sunday.
Analysis: Graham appears to have survived head coach Gary Kubiak's scrutiny back in November, when the coach tried out other kickers and called out Graham for his kickoffs.

Graham converted three extra points and nailed a 50-yard field goal in Houston's win over Tennessee in Week 13.
Analysis: Graham also had three kickoffs leading to touchbacks, an area of his game that has been lacking to date. Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has confidence in Graham, but he's also been concerned about short kickoffs, which can potentially lead to good field position for opponents.

Texans head coach Gary Kubiak expressed concern about Graham during his press conference Friday, Tania Ganguli of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analysis: Kubiak was particularly disappointed in the missed 50-yard field goal from Graham on Thursday, but was pleased with improved work on kickoffs. Keep an eye on the Texans leading into Week 13 in the event that team brings in some competition to continue pushing him for the job.

Graham made all four extra points and 2-of-3 field goals, including the game winner in overtime, as Houston defeated Detroit on Thursday.
Analysis: It appeared no one wanted to win this game, as both Graham and Lions kicker Jason Hanson barely missed field goals previously in overtime. However, Graham's 32-yarder with just over two minutes remaining in the extra session just squeaked past the upright. He continues to be a top-10 fantasy kicker, despite being involved in an offense that tallies touchdowns more often than not.

Graham made 3-of-5 field-goal attempts and kicked four extra points for 13 points Sunday in Houston's win over Jacksonville.
Analysis: Graham, whose misses were from 47 and 50 yards, was in a position to be a productive point producer from the kicker position. The Texans brought some kickers in for tryouts earlier this week, presumably because Graham is last among regular kickers in touchbacks. Two of his eight kickoffs went for touchbacks on Sunday.

Graham, who has scored 74 points and is 15-of-17 on field goals, watched Tuesday as the Texans brought in three kickers for a tryout, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analysis: The Texans brought in Billy Cundiff, Olindo Mare and John Potter. Graham has been good on his field goals, but the depth of his kickoffs is another story. For the season, Graham has just 11 touchbacks out of 52 kickoffs, a 21.2 percent rate that's the lowest in the league. We don't suspect a change happening, but the move does serve notice to Graham to perform better on kickoffs.

Graham kicked three field goals and two extra points Monday night in Houston's win over the Jets.
Analysis: The Texans have been pretty good about finishing off their red zone trips with touchdowns this season, but not Monday. Graham was given three field-goal opportunities, just the second time in five games he's had at least three. Through five games, Graham is averaging 9.4 points per game.

Graham connected on two field goals and three extra points, giving him nine total points in Houston's win over Jacksonville in Week 2.
Analysis: Graham has been successful on five of his six field-goal attempts with six extra points through the first two weeks of the season. That's 21 points total (10.5 per game), leaving him tied for seventh in the league in scoring.

Graham made three of his four field goal attempts and added three extra points Sunday in Houston's 30-10 win over Miami.
Analysis: Graham's lone miss came from 52 yards out, but he made up for it with a nice 12-point outing to open the season. The Houston kicking job has been a productive one the last few seasons, so Graham should be worth a look.

Graham has won Houston's kicking job with Randy Bullock placed on IR with a torn groin muscle, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Graham was successful on his lone field-goal attempt from 53 yards out Saturday night in Houston's preseason loss to New Orleans.
Analysis: Graham's competition in the battle for Houston's kicking job, rookie Randy Bullock, kicked three extra points and a 33-yard field goal in the game. Neither kicker has separated himself during the preseason games. Texans head coach Gary Kubiak should come to a decision this week.

Graham booted two field goals during Houston's preseason win over San Francisco on Saturday.
Analysis: Graham connected from 48 and 49 yards in the win, while rookie Randy Bullock missed his only attempt from 51 yards. It's a bit premature to be handing out the place-kicking job. The competition will continue for at least another week and there are more things to consider than just field-goal percentage during preseason games.

Graham made both his field-goal attempts Saturday night in Houston's preseason win over Carolina.
Analysis: Graham hit a 20-yarder and a 37-yarder in the win, while rookie Randy Bullock made one from 21 yards and a second from 52 yards. The two competitors for Houston's place-kicking job will rotate kicks all throughout the preseason, before head coach Gary Kubiak makes a decision.

Graham did not kick during Wednesday's practice because he wasn't feeling well, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analysis: Graham was back on the field and kicking Thursday and drilled all of his field-goal attempts. There had been some thought, after rookie Randy Bullock was the only one kicking Wednesday, that Graham had fallen behind the rookie. But as we just learned, Graham's absence from the drills was due to illness. The competition grinds on between the two.

On Monday, both Graham and Randy Bullock kicked for the first time in front of teammates and the media, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analysis: As Houston's place-kicking competition begins in earnest, it's too early to project a winner in what should be a coveted kicking job. Neither Bullock nor Graham were challenged by long distances Monday. Each player brings an element the other doesn't have. Graham is a veteran of the NFL, while Bullock is the only kicker the Texans have ever drafted.

With Billy Cundiff still hobbled, Graham will handle the Ravens' kicking duties Saturday against the Browns, Carroll County Times writer Aaron Wilson reports.
Analysis: Now that the situation has been clarified, Graham actually represents a decent fantasy kicking option in Week 16, especially for those who have been rolling with Cundiff.

Shayne Graham: On Track to Fill in for Cundiff
Graham seems likely to handle the Ravens' place-kicking duties Saturday against the Browns, csnwashington.com reports.
Analysis: The Carroll County Times states without qualification that Graham is slated to handle the kicking duties Saturday, while the Baltimore Sun indicates that an official decision on that front may not come until Saturday. Either way, the odds are that Graham will get the nod Saturday, though we may need to wait until the first wave of inactives Saturday before that is confirmed.

Shayne Graham: Signed by Ravens
The Ravens have signed Graham, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Analysis: Billy Cundiff has been battling a calf injury, but the addition of Graham suggests that the Ravens might sit him this week against the Browns. If a switch is confirmed prior to Saturday's kickoff, Graham could be a decent Week 16 play, but if that determination is not made in advance, then it's a situation to avoid.

Shayne Graham: Signs With Dolphins
Graham agreed to a contract with the Dolphins on Saturday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Analysis: Signing Graham is an indication the Dolphins don't believe Dan Carpenter will play Sunday after injuring his groin in Thursday's practice. Graham has not appeared in a game since 2010, but with an 86 percent success rate in his career, it's clear he knows how to make kicks. Consider him an average option this week against a Bills team that is allowing 24.2 points per game.
