Brandon Myers: Agrees To Join Giants
Myers has agreed to sign with the Giants, Mike Garafolo of USA Today reports.
Analysis: Myers broke out from obscurity last season with Oakland, finishing with 806 yards and four touchdowns on 79 receptions. He was targeted 105 times, good for second on the club, so while he figured to be one of Carson Palmer's favorite options again in 2013, it seems he'd rather play for a contender. With Martellus Bennett now gone, Myers should become the top tight end in New York, and while he may not see as many targets with his new team, he will likely see an increase in red zone opportunities.

Myers broke out in a big way in 2012, finishing the season with 79 receptions, a team-leading 806 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.
Analysis: Myers entered the 2012 campaign as a relative unknown having caught just 32 passes over his first three professional seasons, but he finished the season as a top-10 tight end in most fantasy formats. Myers gave fantasy owners a boost with a strong run of performances from Weeks 9-13, but he struggled with consistency and ended the season on a down note. Consider him a borderline starter in standard formats heading into next season.

Myers (shoulder) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Analysis: While Myers showed up on the injury report this week, he practiced fully each day and is good to go for Week 17. Myers has been a non-factor in the Raiders' offense of late, and with Terrelle Pryor making his first career start this week, Myers may be asked to do more blocking than route running on Sunday.

Myers caught three passes for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to the Panthers.
Analysis: Myers caught 14 passes for 130 yards in Week 13, but he has totaled just six receptions and 32 yards in the three weeks since. The Raiders' Week 17 opponent, the Chargers, have done a good job shutting down opposing tight ends of late, so don't be surprised if Myers has another quiet showing in the season finale.

Analysis: Myers has disappeared in recent weeks, but he is still getting the targets. If Terrelle Pryor takes over for Carson Palmer, he could be relied on heavily, but could be a risky play since they won't have the rapport Palmer and Myers share.

Myers caught two passes for 15 yards in Sunday's victory over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Myers has had a productive fantasy season on the whole, but he has left fantasy owners out to dry over the last two weeks, totaling just three catches for 22 yards. While he has been a starting tight end option in most formats over the second half of the season, his recent output makes him anything but safe to use in Week 16.

Myers (shoulder) caught one pass for seven yards in Thursday's loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: While it wasn't hard to predict a drop-off from his 14-catch effort in Week 13, Thursday's two-target dud is surprising, given that the tight end was averaging a shade over 10 targets a game over his previous five contests. A bounce-back in Week 15 against the Chiefs is probably in order for Myers, who now has some extra time to nurse his aches and pains thanks to the Raiders' current short week.

Analysis: Myers was limited at Tuesday's workout thanks to a minor shoulder injury, but he practice fully Wednesday and is good to go for Week 14. Analysis: Since he was not listed on Monday's injury report, Myers' participation level was likely a precaution with a short week on tap. He is coming off his best performance of the season -- 14 catches (on 15 targets) for 130 yards and a touchdown -- so his status should be watched going into Thursday's game versus Denver.

Analysis: Myers, like the rest of the Raiders' passing game, had a quiet day.
