Amendola left Thursday's game against the Cardinals with an apparent shoulder injury.

Analysis: Amendola landed hard on his right shoulder after laying out for a deep pass along the sideline in the middle of the second quarter. Amendola, who in signs of a serious injury threw his helmet in frustration on the way to the locker room, had one catch for 44 yards on five targets before leaving. It looks as if Bradford will be without his favorite receiver for awhile.

Amendola (ankle) is active for Thursday's game against the Cardinals.

Analysis: Amendola is eighth in the NFL with 351 receiving yards through four games, though his numbers are inflated by his 15-catch, 160-yards effort in Week 2. Still, he's a nice option in PPR formats, having caught at least five passes in all four of his games thus far.

Analysis: Yes, his name is present on the injury report, but barring a setback, Amendola should be on the field against the Cardinals. He has established himself as Sam Bradford's top threat in the passing attack, racking up 31 receptions on 44 targets for 351 yards and a touchdown. Utilize him as you normally would.

Analysis: Amendola didn't have a huge number of catches or yards but fantasy owners have to be happy that he finally got into the end zone. He was targeted a game-high 10 times and clearly remains quarterback Sam Bradford's favorite receiver; no other Ram had more than two catches Sunday.

Amendola led the Rams with 66 yards on five receptions on Sunday.

Analysis: Amendola continues to be the Rams' most consistent receiver and should be owned and started in all PPR leagues, as he's likely to lead the club in receptions almost every week.

Amendola had 160 yards receiving and one touchdown on 15 receptions during the Rams win over Washington in Week 2.

Analysis: Amendola had a ridiculous 16 targets on Sunday so the Rams clearly saw a major flaw in Washington's defense they could exploit with the diminutive slot receiver. We think this game is an aberration...to a point. Amendola isn't likely to see 16 targets on a weekly basis and the yardage was ridiculous. However, he should routinely see the most targets on the Rams every week and it should make for consistent yardage. If he's still available in your league go scoop him up...now!

Amendola ties NFL record

Danny Amendola of the St. Louis Rams has 12 receptions in the first half of their matchup against the Redskins, tying the NFL record set by the Colts' Reggie Wayne in 2007.

Analysis: Amendola is proving to not only be valuable in PPR leagues, but standard leagues as well.

Amendola had five catches for 70 yards and one carry for two yards during Sunday's loss to the Lions.

Analysis: Amendola led the Rams in catches, receiving yards and targets, although it was Brandon Gibson who was the wideout that recorded a touchdown. Sam Bradford has developed a very steady relationship with Amendola, although the Rams offense isn't a dominant one that will produce a great number of fantasy stars.

Amendola had two receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' preseason finale against Baltimore on Thursday night.

Analysis: Amendola is expected to be the Rams top receiver this year, at least in terms of receptions, so if you're in a PPR league he could be a very valuable addition to your roster.

Amendola tallied a team-high 58 receiving yards on three catches, including an eight-yard touchdown reception, as St. Louis handled Kansas City on Saturday.

Analysis: Amendola also had a 35-yard gain during the Rams' opening touchdown drive, showing off his big-play ability in the process. He and quarterback Sam Bradford appear to have great chemistry as each looks to have a bounce-back season after the debacle that was 2011.

Analysis: Amendola started opposite veteran Steve Smith at wide receiver and played just the first two series. While the wide receiving depth chart remains clouded, Amendola is the one guy who is guaranteed to make the final roster and will definitely start as the club's slot receiver.

Analysis: Amendola is completely healed from his arm and shoulder injuries from a year ago and has already gone right back to being Sam Bradford's favorite target in the slot. Jeff Fisher's pronouncement about him being the No. 1 punt returner just adds more value to the diminutive wide receiver who has averaged better than 11.3 yards per return in his career.

Amendola is being proclaimed by some to be the ultimate fantasy sleeper heading into the 2012 season, the Bleacher Report reports.

Analysis: Amendola has proven to be a reliable source of catches, if not yards, when he's been healthy. With an improved offensive line and several new receivers around him capable of stretching the field, we can't necessarily disagree with the idea that Amendola could have a career year in 2012. However, if the last several years have shown us anything with the Rams it's that results hardly ever meet expectations. We'd definitely keep Amendola on our list, but we think 75-to-80 receptions and 900 yards may be a bit overzealous. Additionally you can't overlook the fact that the guy is small is likely to take a ton of licks going over the middle. Bottom line, don't reach too soon or you may well regret it.

Amendola has proclaimed himself 100 percent healthy as he heads into the Rams' formal offseason conditioning program, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Analysis: Amendola suffered a dislocated elbow and damaged his triceps during the club's 2011 opener against Philadelphia. Additional damage to his triceps during rehab led to his being placed on the IR on Oct. 10. "I've got range of motion and full strength back," said Amendola. "I'll continue to work on the little stuff, just to get finely tuned. But mostly it's all the way back." That's good news for the Rams who lack any big-time playmakers in their receiving corp. Before his injury Amendola was one of Sam Bradford's favorite targets out of the slot and he is expected to resume that role for the club in 2012 with a very good chance at leading the Rams in receptions if he can stay healthy.
